We are looking for a QC Inspector to join our GT Aero team in Aberdeen.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Perform bulk and detail strip inspections of gas turbines and provide comprehensive defect reports
- Carry out stage inspections during engine builds to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Maintain and control workshop Control Order Files and associated documentation
- Ensure all measuring equipment is calibrated, certified, and aligned with Quality Management System requirements
- Assist with shipping and receipt of materials to and from approved vendors, expediting sub-con activities efficiently
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar inspection or mechanical quality role, ideally within a gas turbine environment
- Proven ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and illustrated parts catalogues
- Working knowledge of industrial or power gas turbines and associated components
- A minimum of NC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; HNC is preferred (or suitable proven experience in lieu of formal qualifications)
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work collaboratively with workshop and quality teams
