Mechanical Team Leader – Full Time – Falkirk, United Kingdom

At Falkirk, we specialise in comprehensive maintenance solutions for rotating machinery, supporting industries such as Wind and Hydro Power, Renewable Energy, Oil & Gas, and Water. As a High Voltage Service Centre of Excellence, our significant investments have strengthened our capabilities, allowing us to streamline repairs, enhance productivity, and minimise downtime for our customers.

We are looking for a Mechanical Team Leader to lead and support our workshop team, ensuring high-quality service delivery while maintaining efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Your Main Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the workshop team, allocating tasks and ensuring deadlines, quality, and safety standards are met.
  2. Provide hands-on technical guidance and troubleshooting on complex equipment.
  3. Oversee repair data approval, quality control, and compliance with industry standards.
  4. Coordinate resources, ensuring tools, materials, and schedules align with project needs.
  5. Promote Health & Safety, team collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

  1. A strong engineering background with hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance.
  2. Previous leadership experience with a “lead from the front” approach.
  3. Excellent organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities at all levels.
  5. Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, ideally with an IOSH qualification.
