At Falkirk, we specialise in comprehensive maintenance solutions for rotating machinery, supporting industries such as Wind and Hydro Power, Renewable Energy, Oil & Gas, and Water. As a High Voltage Service Centre of Excellence, our significant investments have strengthened our capabilities, allowing us to streamline repairs, enhance productivity, and minimise downtime for our customers.
We are looking for a Mechanical Team Leader to lead and support our workshop team, ensuring high-quality service delivery while maintaining efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the workshop team, allocating tasks and ensuring deadlines, quality, and safety standards are met.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance and troubleshooting on complex equipment.
- Oversee repair data approval, quality control, and compliance with industry standards.
- Coordinate resources, ensuring tools, materials, and schedules align with project needs.
- Promote Health & Safety, team collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong engineering background with hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance.
- Previous leadership experience with a “lead from the front” approach.
- Excellent organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities at all levels.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, ideally with an IOSH qualification.
