Join our Leeds Service Centre and take the lead on projects that keep critical industries moving. As a Project Manager in our rotating equipment services team, you’ll manage challenging, high‑value projects from start to finish, ensuring precision, performance, and customer satisfaction every step of the way.
Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of assigned projects, delivering on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage projects involving overhaul, refurbishment, and upgrades of rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, compressors, and turbines.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and emergency repair projects, as well as condition monitoring and reliability improvement initiatives.
- Support tender preparation and ensure compliance with company guidelines.
- Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and operations to keep projects on track.
- Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers to reduce risk and unlock future opportunities.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Proven experience managing complex engineering projects, ideally within rotating equipment or a related industrial environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Commercial awareness and experience in contract negotiation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- A recognised qualification in Engineering or Business discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Highly Desirable: PRINCE2 or APM certification.
