About the role
We are looking for a commercially minded Senior Finance Business Partner to support our Services business across the UK & Nordics region. In this strategic role, you will combine deep financial expertise with strong business acumen to guide decision-making, improve performance, and ensure financial insights are embedded at every level of the organisation.
As a key partner to regional leadership, you will play a critical part in shaping the future direction of the business – helping drive sustainable growth, profitability, and operational excellence across multiple sites and service lines. The role can be based at our Birmingham or Leeds facilities.
What you’ll do
- Develop and review strategic plans at a regional, business unit, or divisional level, providing financial insights to support long-term growth and business strategies
- Establish and maintain comprehensive performance management frameworks for cross-functional and geographically diverse teams
- Manage major capital programs and oversee costing, pricing and profitability modelling
- Partner with senior leaders, shaping strategy and ensuring financial alignment with business goals
- Support project reviews and provide expert financial guidance through the full project lifecycle
What you’ll bring
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar
- 7-10 years' experience in leadership in finance or business planning, ideally within the industrial, engineering services or manufacturing sectors
- Strong stakeholder-management skills with the ability to influence senior decision-makers
- Excellent communication skills, translating complex financial insights for non-financial audiences
- Advanced MS Office skills; experience with Tagetik, Qlik Sense or ERP systems is a plus
