We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our client on a 12-month fixed-term contract .

In this role, you'll provide essential administrative and operational support across all stages of the employee lifecycle.

You'll play a key part in delivering a smooth and effective HR service, helping to foster a positive and engaging employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries from employees and managers.
  • Support recruitment activity, including drafting job adverts, coordinating interviews, and preparing offer documentation.
  • Manage onboarding and induction processes for new starters, ensuring a welcoming and compliant experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems.
  • Provide payroll support by collating and submitting employee data.
  • Track and monitor employee absences, including sickness and annual leave.
  • Draft and issue HR documentation such as contracts, letters, and employment references.
  • Assist with employee relations processes, including note-taking during investigations and disciplinary meetings.
  • Support the coordination of learning and development activities and training events.
  • Ensure all activities comply with current employment legislation and internal policies.

Person Specification

Qualifications

  • CIPD Level 3 qualified (or currently working towards) – preferred but not essential.

Experience

  • Prior experience in an HR administration or coordinator role.
  • Sound understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.

Skills and Competencies

  • Highly organised with strong time management skills.
  • Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Discreet and professional when handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office and HR systems (experience with Breathe HR or Cintra Cloud is a plus).
