Job Description:
Sullivan Brown are working exclusively with Gateshead Council to recruit a Recruitment Business Partner into their brand new recruitment team!
This is an exciting opportunity to join the council as they implement a major transformation program focused on the redesign and delivery of a modern attraction and recruitment approach across the entire recruitment cycle.
Alongside the Recruitment Manager and the rest of the recruitment team you will help to design and implement the new recruitment function. You will be key in building and implementing a new ATS system, designing new policies and processes to ensure a seamless recruitment process across the council as well as an outstanding candidate journey.
This is a rarely available and highly rewarding opportunity where you will have the opportunity to make changes and help mold the way the council do recruitment.
To succeed in this role you must have proven experience as a Recruitment Business Partner or similar role within a fast-paced recruitment environment as well as, Strong knowledge of full-cycle attraction, recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection and onboarding. The ability to ability to prioritise and manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail is key.
This will be a hybrid role with 3 days based in their office at the Civic Centre and 2 days from home. Gateshead Council offer some fantastic benefits including flexitime, 26 days holidays plus bank holidays, Local Government Pension and various salary sacrifice schemes.
