We are super excited to be recruiting a Senior HR Business Partner for this forward-thinking, innovative and well-established organisation based in Newcastle upon Tyne. We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner who has experience across a broad range of HR activities, ideally from within an SME organisation and is now looking for the next step to grow their career.
If you are a self-starter who can bring great ideas and creativity and enable this organisation to enhance its employer brand, maximise its talent, level up performance and execute plans quickly and effectively, this role could be for you. This is a standalone role reporting to an inspirational CFO.
You will lead all recruitment activities within the Group, including liaising with hiring managers to set role briefs, hiring timelines and identify key stakeholders, as well as managing candidate pipeline and interview scheduling. This role is fundamental in managing the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they enjoy the best possible experience of joining.
Engagement is a key focus so you will co‑coordinate their employee engagement survey (twice yearly) programme, administering the survey, collating responses and disseminating to the leadership team, along with all company follow‑up on key actions arising.
Leading on continuous improvement and formalisation of HR policies, including the staff handbook, and communicating key updates to the wider team you will also take a lead on the performance management process, ensuring 100% compliance and early intervention for any non‑performing individuals.
As Senior HR Business Partner you will regularly report to the senior leadership team on KPI metrics which demonstrate the impact of HR‑related activity and report on people metrics as part of ongoing CSR reporting requirements.
As an experienced Business Partner you will demonstrate generalist experience gained from within an SME, tech would be great but this can be flexible. With a CIPD or equivalent qualification you will bring up-to‑date knowledge of current employment legislation, trends and HR approaches. If you can also bring experience of working within a company with a multi‑site, international representation, US and France / Germany preferred then that would be hugely exciting!
In return, this role offers a salary of up to £60k per annum, 28 days annual leave, a company‑related bonus plus several other impressive benefits. The role is hybrid and requires you to be onsite at their stunning Newcastle city centre based office two days per week.
