We are looking for a commercially focused HR Business Partner to join our People Team in a strategic, hands-on role supporting leaders to deliver their business objectives through effective people solutions. This is a true partnering opportunity - balancing organisational design, workforce planning, engagement and talent strategies with expert handling of complex employee relations matters.

The Role

  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, translating business priorities into practical people plans that drive performance, engagement and inclusion.
  • Partner with leaders to align people strategy to operational goals.
  • Lead organisational design and change initiatives.
  • Manage complex ER cases including performance, conduct, absence, grievances, TUPE and consultations.
  • Coach and develop managers to build leadership capability.
  • Lead engagement survey action planning and drive improvements.
  • Support talent management, succession planning and workforce planning.
  • Use HR data and insight to inform business decisions.
  • Drive consistency, continuous improvement and best practice across the Group.

About You

  • Strong HR generalist background across ER, talent and change.
  • Experienced in managing complex ER and restructuring activity.
  • Confident influencing and coaching senior stakeholders.
  • Commercially astute, pragmatic and solutions-focused.

This is an opportunity to shape people strategy, influence senior leaders and contribute to a high-performing, inclusive culture. This position is a regional position with travel to sites across the North West and Midlands and South of the UK.
