We're looking for an experienced Employee Relations/Trade Unions Specialist to join a fast-paced and dynamic ER team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ER specialist who enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders, managing complex cases and shaping employee relations strategy within a large and evolving organisation.
The role
- You'll play a key role in delivering commercial expert advice on complex and escalated ER matters while ensuring a consistent, fair and legally compliant approach across the business.
- Working closely with HR colleagues and specialist teams, you'll help to build capability across the organisation through ER training and guidance.
Duties include
- Support the management of Employment Tribunal claims alongside external solicitors
- Review and improve ER policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current legislation
- Partner with leaders to manage complex employee relations cases
- Deliver ER training to HR teams and line managers
- Support escalated ER matters across the business when required
- Contribute to wider HR projects and cross-functional initiatives
About you
We're looking for someone who is confident managing complex ER issues and influencing stakeholders across the business. It is essential to have unions experience for this position.
