We are delighted to partner with Lancashire County Council to recruit their Strategic People Business Partner.

The Role: Strategic People Business Partner

This is an exciting opportunity for a Strategic People Business Partner to join a progressive organisation. As a Senior People Partner working closely with senior leaders, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build trusted relationships with Executive Directors and Directors by developing a strong understanding of their service objectives and relevant external environments to ensure People initiatives are aligned.
  • Champion People Programmes across your directorates to ensure efficient delivery and measurable results.
  • Lead a team of People Business Partners ensuring the service provides solutions-focused professional and responsive advice on complex employment matters, service redesign, and people development.

Qualifications and Experience

Ideally, you will be CIPD qualified with a proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders through the delivery of impactful people initiatives that enhance performance and employee engagement. You should have experience in advising and challenging senior leaders on people-related matters, as well as a strong background in managing and coaching teams.
