Due to an internal promotion we're looking for a dynamic People Manager to lead with heart, drive performance, and help shape the HR department of a growing financial services organisation.
As a People Manager, you'll be the go-to leader for the HR team. You will have two direct reports, supporting their growth, champion their success, and foster an inclusive, engaging, and productive environment. You’ll be the frontline advocate for employees, handling complex people matters with care, while driving performance and engagement.
As part of a growing organisation you will be responsible for supporting and developing and implementing the recruitment strategy – supporting departments with everything recruitment related. We’re looking for a People Manager with strong experience in HR policy development and process optimisation to help us create a thriving and compliant workplace.
You’ll be responsible not only for managing the team but also for improving the policies and processes that keep the people operations running smoothly. The role will also involve exciting project work such as involvement in training programmes, cultural initiatives and company benefits to name a few.
The role is based in Newcastle City Centre – 4 days office working, 1 day from home. (37 hour week) Salary circa £40,000 - £45,000.
