We are delighted to be working with a well respected North East business to recruit a Head of Talent to join their HR Leadership Team. The Head of Talent will lead the development and delivery of the organisation's talent strategy to ensure they have the skills, capability and diverse leadership needed for the future.

You will design and embed a talent management framework, strengthen leadership development, maximise the value of the apprenticeship levy, and embed a learning ecosystem that supports continuous development for all colleagues. Operating with significant autonomy, you will use insights, research and best practice to anticipate future capability needs, shape high-impact development solutions, and ensure our talent acquisition, learning, apprenticeships and succession planning activities work together to grow a high performance culture and a strong and sustainable talent pipeline.

We are looking to hear from senior Talent professionals with experience of leading complex talent, leadership and learning agendas across the full colleague life-cycle from talent attraction and early careers to leadership development. Strong team management is a must for this role, as are brilliant stakeholder management skills. This is a great role for someone looking to own the talent agenda in a busy organisation and brilliant HR team.

The role is hybrid with 2-3 days on site in Newcastle Upon Tyne and preference is for people who are based in the North East or an easy commute away.
