The Vacancy Sulis Hospital Bath are looking for a full‑time Finance Analyst to join our Finance team. As a Finance Analyst, you will provide monthly financial reports and forecasts, work in close liaison with our Finance Business Partners, analyse ledger transactions and post journals for accruals and prepayments at month end to ensure the financial position is accurate. You will provide timely, high‑quality financial information to operational and clinical staff, meeting all internal and external reporting deadlines set by the Finance Business Partners and Associate Director of Finance. You will also be required to take on additional ad‑hoc projects as requested by the Finance Business Partners and Associate Director of Finance, and any other duties commensurate with the grade and in line with the requirements of the post.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly financial reports and forecasts.
  • Analyse transactions on the ledger and post journals for accruals and prepayments at month end.
  • Provide timely, high‑quality financial information to operational and clinical staff.
  • Meet all internal and external reporting deadlines.
  • Take on additional ad‑hoc projects as requested.

Qualifications

  • AAT Level 3 (or equivalent) minimum qualification.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare financial role or related industry is desirable.
  • Ability to work on‑site, adaptability and proactive willingness to learn new skills, systems, and processes.
