We are looking for an experienced cross-sectional Radiographer to join our busy, friendly imaging department who will work as a skilled and adaptable member of the Radiology team to undertake MRI/CT scanning and when required general Radiographic duties (plain X ray/Theatre). You will be part of a small team of skilled Radiographers who deliver a high quality of imaging examinations and work closely with consultant partners to provide outstanding patient care. The unit primarily performs musculoskeletal imaging as well as neurological and body imaging.
Main duties of the job:
- You will perform general x-ray to support our inpatient/outpatient activity and perform general radiographic duties using image intensifiers to support theatre procedures.
- If you have some basic CT experience this would be advantageous, however we would be able to offer training in CT and MRI to the right candidate.
- There is an on-call commitment with this post plus weekend work.

Job responsibilities:
- Full time 37.5 hours, Mon-Sun.
- Permanent contract.
- On-call commitment.
- This role requires DBS clearance.

Qualifications:
- DCR or BSc in Radiography
- Evidence of CPD
- HCPC Registration
- 2 years + MRI/CT experience.
- Wide range of clinical skills.
- Relevant organisational skills in a Radiology department.
