Are you a highly motivated registered Theatre Nurse Practitioner/ ODP with the drive, ambition and commitment to deliver the highest standards of patient care? Sulis Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in Somerset, has opportunities for Anaesthetic Theatre Nurse Practitioners or ODPs to join our Theatre team. An interest or ability to scrub would also be beneficial.
We are looking for motivated and passionate individuals to work flexibly as part of our hospital’s clinical theatre team providing the highest standards of professional care to patients and to make a positive contribution towards the team’s pursuit of excellence. A friendly manner is essential as you will need to communicate with patients and put them at ease during this vulnerable time, along with high attention to detail to ensure your documentation is accurate.
You will be responsible for preparing the Anaesthetic room for surgery including equipment, supplies and medications required for specific procedures, contributing to the team working throughout our theatre department whilst providing the highest standards of professional care.
Full Time - 37.5 hours - Permanent
Shift pattern to include either; We currently operate 6 days per week including Saturdays, there is an on-call commitment to cover out of hours. This role requires DBS clearance.
If you have NMC or ODP registration and a demonstrable record of CPD with knowledge and experience of theatre professional practice, then we would like to hear from you.
