Sulis Hospital have opportunities for enthusiastic Healthcare Support Workers to join our busy Theatre team who can demonstrate excellent communication and organisation skills, and commitment to deliver the highest standards of patient care. As a Theatre Healthcare Support Worker at Sulis, you will act as a valued member of our multi-disciplinary Theatre team and will be responsible for supporting the clinical team in the delivery of safe, high quality patient focused care, under the direction of Registered Practitioners.
You will be responsible for ensuring resources within the theatre department are used to optimum effect to ensure the highest quality patient care. This includes preparing the operating theatre for surgery, daily checking of medicine stocks, and providing assistance to professionals when performing specific clinics and clinical treatments for patients. Acting as the support worker for patients undergoing surgery, you will provide a high standard of patient centred care whilst ensuring patients retain their dignity and individuality.
You will demonstrate your competence in the role with your effective communication skills, ability to demonstrate fluency and clarity at all levels, and your positive manner and tact with patients, their relatives, carers, and visitors.

- Full-time 37.5 hours
- Fixed Term Contract - Role will start August/September 2026
- Experience in operating theatres is required, and this post does not offer sponsorship
- This role requires DBS clearance.
