Role Introduction

An exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly capable Senior Business Development Manager to play a key role in the company’s ambitious growth plans by driving the acquisition of new managed services clients.

What You Will Do

  • Identify new opportunities through self-generation activities and collaboration with our Marketing team.
  • Nurture leads through the sales cycle, owning them from initial engagement to closure.
  • Drive Co-Sell and Cross-Sell sales motions with partners, consultants, and colleagues across the group to generate pipeline.
  • Develop win strategies for key deals, aligned with the Advanced Value Selling Sales Methodology.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Director and Marketing team to develop value propositions and plan and execute campaigns.
  • Contribute to proposals, papers, business cases, ROI analyses, and other collateral as needed during the sales cycle.
  • Coordinate virtual bid teams to ensure high-quality output aligned with win strategies.
  • Create commercial models with the Sales Director and Pre-Sales to align with win strategies and ensure target margins.
  • Contribute to contract negotiations alongside the Sales Director and legal team.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and relevant market trends to keep value propositions relevant.

What You Will Have

  • At least 7+ years of experience selling Managed Services solutions to the UK mid-market.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • A proven track record of success in B2B new business sales within complex client portfolios.
  • Ability to innovate and challenge conventional thinking.
  • Ability to develop and articulate clear win strategies and USPs.
  • Experience with Co-Sell and Cross-Sell motions is advantageous.
  • Experience selling into both public and private sectors is advantageous.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
