Role Introduction

Working within the Accelerator vertical, the successful candidate will be accountable for managing the relationship with our high-value and high-growth potential customers principally to facilitate retention and drive revenue growth through upsell and cross-sell of the Advanced software portfolio. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the correct behaviours and activity levels daily to ensure that the overall business revenue targets associated with the existing customer base are achieved. Our Accelerator vertical currently serves around 4,400 clients.

What You Will Do

  • As an Account Director, you will manage relationships across a complex portfolio.
  • Responsibility for 25-30 high opportunity business service accounts.
  • Develop deep sector expertise for the markets you serve (business services).
  • Manage the sales cycle from initial opportunity through to close.
  • Actively generate and close opportunities within the existing customer base.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts for any given month or year.
  • Develop and maintain account plans to achieve individual sales targets.

What You Will Have

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Track record of managing and growing strategic accounts.
  • Experience within sales from a SaaS/Software perspective.
  • Exposure to both account management and new business would be an advantage.
  • Experience selling into business services would be a plus.
  • A proven track record of success in B2B new business sales within a complex client portfolio.
  • Effective communication and time management skills.
