My client is a leading property services company, based in the heart of central London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Painter and Decorator with previous experience in the maintenance and construction industry to join their team in Central London.
As a Painter and Decorator, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other finishes to both interior and exterior surfaces of buildings, fixtures, and structures. You will have the opportunity to gain skill training and assist other trades, further enhancing your expertise and career development.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Painting and decorating works
- Preparation of surfaces
- Material Selection
- Installation of carpet tiles
- Installation of stair nosings
- Assisting other trades and gaining skill training
- Procurement of materials and equipment to carry out works
- Completion of work sheets via their mobile app
Experience and qualifications required:
- A hardworking, reliable work ethic, flexible as overtime and out of hours works may be required depending on client or job requirements
- Previous experience in maintenance and building environments, ideally within commercial or residential sectors
- A HSE understanding
- Previous use of handheld technology / smartphone
- Take pride in doing everything you do to the highest standard
- A good communicator, who understands the importance of customer service
- City and Guilds qualifications or equivalent

- Minimum 5 years of experience in the building industry
