My client is a leading property maintenance company, offering multi-disciplinary services to suit their clients' requirements.
Due to an expansion in their contracts, they are seeking a handyman (with a minimum of 5 years experience in maintenance/FM/property maintenance) to join their team in London, who specialise in building maintenance within commercial & residential properties.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with previous experience in the building maintenance industry and a varied knowledge of carrying out maintenance duties in a commercial or residential environment.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Blind repairs
- Installation of hatches
- Installation of carpet tiles
- Installation of stair nosings
- Assisting other trades and gaining skill training
- Building furniture
- Procurement of materials and equipment to carry out works
- Completion of work sheets via our mobile app
- This is a mobile role (although driving license not essential)
Required qualifications and experience:
- A hardworking, reliable work ethic, flexible as overtime & OOH works may be required depending on client or job requirements
- Previous experience in maintenance and building environments, ideally within commercial or residential sectors
- A HSE understanding
- Full UK Driver’s License (not essential)
- Previous use of handheld technology / smartphone
- Take pride in doing everything you do to the highest standard
- A good communicator, who understands the importance of customer service
- City and Guilds qualifications or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the building industry
Job Type: Permanent and Full time
Monday to Friday (8am - 5pm)
