My client is a leading facilities and maintenance company, servicing commercial and residential contracts in London.
Due to an expansion in their key contracts, they are seeking a fabric Estimator, with a minimum of 3 years experience, with great customer service skills to join their team in London.
As an Estimator, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality maintenance solutions to their clients.
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Providing estimates and pricing support
- Preparing timely and accurate quotations based on customer requirements and KPIs.
- Preparing presentation packs for tender submissions
- Working closely with management to review QCs and problem solving
- Working with internal teams to resolve various technical issues in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance in Health and Safety Regulations
- Procurement of materials and equipment to carry out works.
- You will be required to be flexible and work both in office as well as attend client sites when required
Required qualifications and experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience of estimating within the construction industry
- Working knowledge of schedule rates
- NVQ Level 3 in Construction or equivalent
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Numerate
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Proficient in the use of Outlook, Word, Excel
- Flexible and adaptable to varying workloads
- A hardworking and reliable work ethic
Job type: Permanent and Full Time
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience) plus benefits
