Job Title: SEN Tutor

Location: Lincolnshire

Contract: Flexible Daytime Hours (Part-Time / Full-Time Opportunities Available)

Pay: £30 - £35 per hour (PAYE)

About The Role

Sugarman Children's Services are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic, and compassionate SEN Teachers to provide high-quality, personalised education to children and young people across Lincolnshire. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with pupils who are currently unable to access mainstream education due to a variety of needs and circumstances. You will deliver bespoke, one-to-one tuition in community settings, schools, family homes, residential placements, or online where appropriate. Our students present with a wide range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, EBSA, Learning difficulties and developmental delays, Behavioural challenges, Medical needs, EHCP-supported learners, Children Looked After (CLA) and those in alternative provision.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
• Deliver tailored lessons based on individual needs and EHCPs
• Support students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
• Work collaboratively with families, carers, and professionals
• Provide engaging, supportive, and structured teaching sessions
• Model positive behaviour and valuesComplete tuition reports and maintain clear communication

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (e.g., PGCE)
• Minimum 2 years' teaching experience (preferred)
• Ability to teach Maths and English (Science desirable)
• Experience across relevant Key Stages
• Strong SEN experience
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Right to work in the UK
• Strong safeguarding knowledge
