You will be supporting a vibrant, creative woman in her early 40s living in her family home. Recovering from a brain tumor, she lives with cognitive impairment, short-term memory loss, and low mood. She isn't just looking for care-she is looking for an active, respectful companion to share in her favourite hobbies, build her confidence, and help her thrive.
gym workouts, swimming, movie nights, reading, arts & crafts, and dining out, this is the perfect role for you!
What You'll Do
Accompany her to the gym, local pool, movies, and restaurants as an empowering adult partner.
Cook nutritious family meals, collaborate on creative craft projects, and encourage her active lifestyle.
Offer discreet, gentle support during short-term memory lapses and low moods.
Enjoy daily 1-hour walks together, providing mindful supervision near roads due to mild balance difficulties.
Gently oversee health needs, including diet-controlled Type 2 diabetes and ongoing medical treatments (TrueBeam radiotherapy).
Maintain clear daily notes and communicate with the management team while respecting her independence.

What You Need
- Gender: Female (Genuine Occupational Requirement)
- Driving License: Valid UK driving license to commute to shifts
- Experience: Minimum 6 months of professional care experience
- (experience with brain injuries, cognitive impairments, or mental health preferred)
- Work Status: Valid Right to Work in the UK
- DBS Check: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
