Sugarman Health & Wellbeing is hiring a Care Assistant to support a service user with a C2 spinal cord injury, tracheostomy, and ventilator dependency in their own home. The individual has full capacity and requires assistance with daily activities.

About the Role: As a Registered Nurse, you'll support vulnerable individuals in their own homes, helping them to live safely, independently, and with dignity. You'll assist with a range of tasks, from personal care to emotional support and everyday activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months care experience (Essential).
- Driver required (Mobility van).
- Non-smoker/vaper.
- Willing to assist with physical tasks (e.g., gardening, long walks).
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
- Assisting with mobility and manual handling.
- Supporting with meal preparation and feeding, where necessary.
- Monitoring and recording vital signs (after training).
- Offering companionship and emotional support.
- Prompting or assisting with medication (where required and trained).
- Helping with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
- Following care plans and reporting changes or concerns to the care team.
- Maintaining dignity, respect, and confidentiality at all times.
Who We're Looking For: We're looking for individuals who are compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality care. Ideally, you will have:
- A minimum of 6 months of professional UK Care experience.
- Complex Care experience preferred, but not a mandatory need.
