About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to provide 1:1, face-to-face tuition for a 15-year-old learner with ADHD and Autism. The student presents with SEMH needs and sensory sensitivities, requiring a calm, structured and highly personalised approach. Engagement is strongest through practical, hands-on learning, with a focus on Maths, English and PSHE delivered in a flexible and accessible way.

Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised, engaging lessons tailored to the student’s needs
- Create a safe, calm and supportive learning environment
- Use adaptive and practical teaching strategies to support engagement
- Promote emotional regulation and positive behaviours
- Work collaboratively with parents/carers
- Track progress and complete session reports
Requirements
- QTS or equivalent (e.g. PGCE)
- Minimum 2 years’ teaching experience
- Strong SEN experience, particularly with SEMH, ADHD and Autism
- Ability to teach core subjects (Maths and English essential)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service and right to work in the UK
- Strong safeguarding knowledge
