About the Role
This is a highly rewarding role where you will support a 30-year-old non-verbal individual with complex needs in their home. The individual has a full understanding of their surroundings. You will be part of a supportive 2:1 care package, focused on helping them live safely and independently. This role includes access to a mobility vehicle to help the client get out and about in the community.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Supporting individuals with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care
- Assisting with complex care tasks such as Tracheostomy and PEG feeding (full training provided)
- Supporting individuals to access the community using a mobility vehicle
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns
- Personal and pressure area care
Key Requirements:
- Must be a driver with a full UK driving license
- Able to work day shifts and commit to weekend availability
- Minimum 6 months of professional UK care experience
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Up-to-date CV with full work history
- Non-drivers are welcome to apply if they can commute reliably, but a driving license is preferred for community access.
