The predicted salary is between 14 - 14 € per hour.

Salary: GBP14 - GBP14 per hour

Shifts: Night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Monday to Thursday). Looking for 2–3 waking night shifts per week. Due to the personal care needs of our clients, this role is open to female applicants only. This is a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you’ll support vulnerable individuals in their own homes, helping them to live safely, independently, and with dignity. You'll assist with a range of tasks, from personal care to emotional support and everyday activities. In this specific role, you will be supporting an elderly lady who is living with Dementia and Type 2 Diabetes. We are seeking a calm, patient, and reassuring Care Assistant who will be highly proactive during these waking night shifts to ensure her comfort, safety, and well-being throughout the night.

  • Full theoretical and practical training to support skills and development
  • Career progression opportunities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, and continence care through the night)
  • Dementia support, providing a calm and orienting presence during periods of confusion
  • Monitoring and managing wellbeing, with specific attention to Type 2 Diabetes management
  • Mobility and manual handling support
  • Monitoring and recording vital signs (after training)
  • Companionship and emotional support
  • Medication support (where trained)
  • Light household tasks (cleaning, laundry)
  • Following care plans and maintaining precise, proactive night-time records

Who We're Looking For

  • A minimum of 6 months of professional UK Care experience.
  • Experience with Dementia care and Type 2 Diabetes management is highly preferred.
  • A calm, proactive demeanor suited for dedicated waking night support.
  • Complex Care experience preferred, but not a mandatory need.
