About the Role
As a Care Assistant, you will support three service users with complex needs in their own homes across Watford and Hemel Hempstead. You will receive full training and shadow shifts to ensure you are confident in your delivery of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Care: Tracheostomy, Spinal Cord Injury support, Peg Feeding, and Ventilators.
- Personal Care: Washing, dressing, toileting, and pressure area care.
- Daily Living: Meal preparation, medication prompting, and household tasks.
- Wellbeing: Providing companionship and following bespoke care plans.
- Safety: Assisting with mobility, manual handling, and promoting independence.
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 6 months of professional UK care experience.
- Specialism: Previous experience in Complex Care (Tracheostomy, Spinal, Peg, Ventilators) is essential.
- Driver Status: Ideally a driver, but not essential.
- Flexibility: Able to work a mix of day and night shifts.
- Requirements: Right to work in the UK and an up-to-date CV.
