Shifts: 8am-8pm, 8pm-8am (waking night)

About the Role

In this role you will be supporting a young female with Autism, Learning Disability and behaviours that challenge, helping her with areas of her day‑to‑day life as well as accessing the community for local drives and activities of her choice within her own home. You will receive full training to further your skills, enabling people to lead fulfilling lives at home and in the community. You will become an essential part of the existing care team in this exciting role. We are looking for someone who has an inspiring attitude to promote bespoke care. You will need to be active and willing to join in and support activities daily.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting individuals with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care
  • Promoting independence and helping service users develop life skills
  • Providing emotional support and building positive relationships
  • Assisting with medication management (where required and trained)
  • Supporting individuals to access the community, attend appointments, or participate in social activities
  • Encouraging and enabling service users to achieve personal goals
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns to the care team
  • Ensuring a safe, respectful, and person‑centred environment at all times
