About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Healthcare Assistant to support a female client in her 50s who has experienced a life-changing stroke in her home. This is a fulfilling and dynamic role offering the opportunity to learn new skills and build a meaningful care relationship.
Key Responsibilities
- PEG feeding and medication administration.
- Managing complex medical conditions, including Epilepsy, Arthritis, and Cerebrovascular disease (stroke-related conditions).
- Supporting mobility, unable to mobilise and uses a wheelchair.
- Level five diet and level two fluid (due to difficulty swallowing/inability to eat or drink orally).
- Managing pain, numbness, burning, and tingling, and sleep trouble.
Personal Care
You’ll receive full training and undertake shadow shifts to ensure you feel confident and well prepared.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of professional care experience
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
