About the Role

We’re looking for dedicated and compassionate SEN Teachers to deliver personalised, high‑quality learning to children and young people with additional needs across Bournemouth, Doncaster, Hampshire, Surrey, and Lincolnshire. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to support pupils through tailored tuition in a variety of settings, helping them build confidence, independence, and academic progress.

Responsibilities

  • Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
  • Deliver tailored lessons based on individual needs and EHCPs
  • Support students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Work collaboratively with families, carers, and professionals
  • Provide engaging, supportive, and structured teaching sessions
  • Model positive behaviour and values
  • Complete tuition reports and maintain clear communication

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (e.g., PGCE)
  • Minimum 2 years’ teaching experience (preferred)
  • Ability to teach Maths and English (Science desirable)
  • Experience across relevant Key Stages
  • Strong SEN experience
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge
