Job Description:
A couple with two children, aged 2 and 4 are looking to employ a proactive, calm and caring Housekeeper/Nanny to assist them in their 5-bedroom home in Clanville Wiltshire. Mum lives in the property full-time and travels to London occasionally during the week, while Dad is at home weekends.
The family also employs a full-time live-out Nanny who works from 8 AM to 6 PM. The role is primarily focused on housekeeping; however, you will also be required to assist with the children in the morning before the nanny arrives. This includes setting up breakfast at 7 AM and helping them get dressed alongside Mum.
Throughout your shift, you will primarily focus on housekeeping and laundry. You will take a break between 11 AM and 3 PM, and when you return, you will continue with housekeeping duties, which may include preparing a meal for the parents. After the children have had their dinner, you will help with the bedtime routine until 7:30 PM, The nanny finishes for the day at 6.30pm. The children go to bed at 7pm Additionally, you will need to be dog-friendly, as the family may consider getting a dog in the future.
Your main duties will involve:
All housekeeping duties Laundry and ironing Preparing meals mainly for the principals mostly just dinners (the nanny cooks for the children) Running errands Covering the nannies duties when she is on annual leave or is unwell
The ideal candidate would be flexible, warm, friendly, and able to take initiative. Someone who has a good eye for detail. It is preferred that you are a driver with your own car.
Accommodation: Brand new 1 bedroom annexe separate to the main house with garden, pets welcome and partners will be considered. All bills included
Live in – Split shift 8.5 hour day with a 4-hour break starting at 7.00 am until 11 am break until 3 pm then finish at 7.30 pm with a 12 hour day on a Saturday
Days: 5day week including one weekend day. Please only apply if you are happy to work at the weekend.
Start: As soon as the right person is found.
Salary: £40,000-45,000 depending on experience.
