Job Description:
ASAP FOR 6 weeks: – Maine and NYC (full travel covered and accommodation provided). We are looking for a kind, quiet, highly experienced, professionally presentable, English-speaking person to look after a couple in their 50s with busy schedules.
Family members include 2 daughters (age 20 & 24) and 4 mini schnauzers.
The family will be traveling between New York City and a small beautiful island in Maine. They have a full-time chef, a weekly housekeeper for deep cleaning, and biweekly linen changes.
Daily duties include: resetting bedrooms & bathrooms, laundry with excellent stain removal and pressing skills, walking and medicating pets, greeting and serving guests, setting tables for meals, occasional snack and meal prep, wardrobe management, household supply management, packing & unpacking, and running errands.
Experience with handling fine furnishings and fabrics, energy, and a cheerful disposition are essential. This role is ideal for someone with yacht experience seeking land-based work over the summer. A love for dogs and initiative are required.
