SugarCRM is looking for a talented, energetic and driven individual to join our team as Business Development Representative (BDR) in our Solihull office. Supporting the UK and potentially wider EMEA sales team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our outbound prospecting efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building rapport with contacts through phone calls, emails (including video emails) and social channels.
- Working closely with the SugarCRM sales team to ensure that the leads provided to sales are qualified correctly and are progressing through the sales funnel.
- Gathering key information to update the CRM system and assigning next steps for sales or marketing nurture paths.
- Proactively identifying and engaging with potential clients in the UK market through outbound telemarketing, email campaigns, social media outreach, and video prospecting.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key prospects, understanding their needs, and effectively conveying how our solutions can benefit them.
- Meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly outbound prospecting and lead generation targets.
- Continuously researching and analysing the UK market to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients.
- Successfully managing and overcoming prospect objections.
- Staying current on the SugarCRM products and solutions.
- Actively looking for opportunities to improve and optimise lead management.
- Recording information and maintaining detailed and accurate records in the CRM system.
Qualifications:
- Experience with value-based selling highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in using email, social media platforms (LinkedIn etc.), and video prospecting to engage with key prospects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional, determined, and results-oriented.
- Positive attitude, team-oriented, and a self-starter.
- A hunger for a career in sales and a desire to learn and grow within a dynamic sales environment.
- Ability to accurately determine lead qualifications based upon established criteria.
- Comfortable learning key software applications.

- Previous experience of using sales cadencing/sequencing tools and LinkedIn Sales Navigator would be advantageous.
- While this role will focus on the UK, other languages could be advantageous.
