Your Role
From ensuring the service runs smoothly and achieves quality excellence, to encouraging personal growth and development of the team – every day is unique. Through leadership and support, Service Managers make a difference to colleagues and people we support, and are integral to ensuring everyone at Consensus can flourish.
- Enable the people we support to lead a fulfilling life and maximise their independence.
- Ensure the wellbeing of the team is prioritised and that they are given the appropriate tools and opportunities to excel.
- Ensure the service is run efficiently and responsibly, balancing budget achievement with excellent quality.
- Effectively manage financial performance, with resources appropriately managed and controlled.
- Promote quality assurance, working towards legal, clinical, statutory, and organisational obligations.
- Ensure full and accurate reporting of management information, maximising quality and compliance.
- Requires registration with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have extensive experience working with those with Learning Disabilities and complex behaviours.
- Be an experienced Service Manager looking for a new challenge in Supported Living.
- Have a minimum Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care; support and training towards Level 4 and 5 is available.
- Bring strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Be confident, flexible and efficient – happy to work on a shift basis and, where required, be on call.
- Be committed to providing person‑centred care that offers equitable opportunities to all individuals you support.
