We are looking for a dedicated Leasehold Support Officer to become a key part of our Leasehold Services Team. This full-time role, working Monday to Friday, plays a vital part in delivering an efficient and customer-focused leasehold service.
What you\'ll be doing
As a Leasehold Support Officer, you will provide essential administrative and frontline support across the Leasehold Service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- acting as the first point of contact for leaseholder enquiries, providing advice, information, and signposting as needed
- managing service charge queries, dispute resolution, and liaising with internal teams to ensure timely responses
- supporting the production and issue of annual service charges and related documentation
- raising purchase orders and invoices, maintaining accurate ICT systems and records
- assisting with leaseholder consultation processes under Section 20 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985
- supporting debt recovery processes by monitoring and administering service charge arrears
- handling legal documentation such as Right to Buy enquiries and service of legal notices within required timelines
- working with internal teams including Surveyors and Repairs in the prevention, detection and remedying of building defects and associated matters
- assisting the Leasehold Manager with investigations and preparing casework for legal proceedings where necessary.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- qualifications equal or comparable to at least 5 GCSE’s
- strong interpersonal skills and experience working with the public
- confidence in using ICT systems and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- a customer-first attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality, responsive services
- the ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
