Location: Carlton Marshes Nature Reserve & Visitor Centre, Carlton Marshes, Burnt Hill Lane, Lowestoft, Suffolk, NR33 8HU
Contract type: Casual
Working hours: Flexible; typically Monday to Sunday 9:00am – 5:00pm covering weekdays, weekends, bank holidays and school holidays.
Pay: £12.71 per hour plus holiday pay.

Role Overview
Deliver excellent customer service, prepare and serve hot and cold food and refreshments, maintain high standards of food presentation and cleaning, support the café’s commercial success, and promote the work of Suffolk Wildlife Trust.
Responsibilities
- Promote a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and encourage participation in Trust activities.
- Serve refreshments confidently and maintain excellent cleaning procedures.
- Assist with stock control processes and manage EPOS till systems.
- Prepare and present hot and cold food items to high standards.
- Work well with others as part of the café & visitor experience team.
Qualifications
- Good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Experience in similar roles is desirable.
- Familiarity with EPOS till systems and stock control.
- Barista skills and experience making specialty coffee beverages is desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours as per casual worker basis.
