We are looking for a Printer & Warehouse Operative to join our growing operation and help deliver high-quality, personalised PPE and workwear solutions for our customers. This is a hands-on role combining garment personalisation with wider warehouse activity. You will play an important part in ensuring customer orders move smoothly through the operation, from receiving goods through to finished products being packed and dispatched.

As part of a growing team, this is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a practical environment, takes pride in producing quality work, and wants to be part of building something for the future.

The opportunity

This role is ideal for someone with experience in garment printing, workwear branding, or a similar production environment who enjoys variety and wants to contribute beyond a traditional print room role. You will spend time producing personalised customer orders whilst also supporting the wider operation, including goods-in, stock handling, picking, packing, and dispatch. The role will flex depending on operational requirements. During periods of high print demand, the focus will be on production output and quality. At other times, you will support wider warehouse activity to help maintain a smooth and efficient operation.

Key responsibilities

  • Operating print equipment to deliver accurate, high-quality garment personalisation at the required volume and pace
  • Preparing garments and products for print, ensuring specifications, quantities, and quality standards are met
  • Supporting effective print workflows to ensure customer orders are completed within required timescales
  • Carrying out quality checks to minimise errors and avoidable rework
  • Supporting goods-in activity, including receiving, checking, and storing incoming products
  • Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Supporting stock accuracy through careful handling and organised storage
  • Supporting urgent customer deliveries where required
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working as the operation develops

What we’re looking for

The ideal candidate will be practical, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-moving operational environment. You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in garment personalisation, workwear branding, embroidery, heat transfer, or a similar print production environment
  • Experience working to customer specifications and managing multiple orders or priorities
  • A strong understanding of quality control and the importance of accuracy
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to provide updates, raise issues, and work collaboratively with others
  • A flexible approach and willingness to support different areas of the operation when required
  • A continuous improvement mindset and an interest in making processes better

Experience within PPE, workwear, promotional merchandise, or a similar customer-focused production environment would be advantageous.

Practical requirements

  • Full driving licence required due to the location of the site and occasional requirement to support local deliveries
  • Ability to work independently whilst being part of a growing team
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on warehouse and production environment

This is an opportunity to join a growing business at an exciting stage of development. You will become one of the first members of the operational team, helping to establish the processes, standards, and capability that will support future growth. If you enjoy practical work, take pride in delivering quality results, and want to play a part in building something from the ground up, we would like to hear from you.

Benefits

  • Additional leave
  • Company pension
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Free parking
