- Abbeygate Sixth Form, Bury St Edmunds
- 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year - Permanent
- Salary: £ 30,024 - £ 33,699 per annum (Dependent on qualifications and experience)
- Actual Salary: £26,141 - £29,341 per annum
We are looking for an Inclusive Learning Mentor to join our dynamic team in supporting students with additional learning needs. Working closely with course teams, the Learning Support Coordinator and Personal Progress Tutors, you will help identify students\' learning support requirements and develop learning support plans. Your responsibilities will include facilitating transition and induction activities, carrying out learning support interviews, and providing tailored support both in class and out of class to help students succeed. You will also attend multi‑agency meetings if required.
In this role, you will monitor student progress, identify those at risk of underachievement, and provide targeted support. You will develop and update individual learning support plans, deliver support in both individual and group settings, and maintain accurate records of activities. Additionally, you will assist with the coordination of exam adjustments and facilitate reviews for students with EHCPs.
