Within the range of £27,702 to £41,892 per annum pro rata (Working 14 hours per week, this equates to £11,080.8 to £16,756.8 per annum). Starting salary subject to college salary assessment process. 14 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer to deliver a range of English qualifications to 16+ learners who are required to re‑sit English as part of their study programme. Learners will work towards achieving a minimum grade 4 in GCSE English whilst studying at Suffolk New College. Additionally, we offer part‑time adult functional skills/GCSE English classes that will run in the evening. This may form a part of the role.

You will have a passion for engaging and motivating young adults, demonstrating innovation and best teaching practice to provide an exceptional experience. You will be able to plan and assess effectively to meet the needs of your learners to enable them to achieve their full potential.

Suffolk New College can provide relevant teacher training to those individuals who can demonstrate the potential to become effective teachers. You should have a degree in English or a related degree or a Level 5 qualification in teaching English along with a teaching qualification or a commitment to obtaining one within a specified period.

Suffolk New College is a multi‑campus site therefore you may be required to work at and travel between campuses. At Suffolk New College, we promote the culture of BeSNC.
