Little St John’s Surgery are looking for a Care Navigator to join our Reception team in Woodbridge. You will need to be flexible, highly motivated and friendly with an excellent eye for detail. The post offers 22 hours a week as follows:
- Monday PM 13:00 to 19:00
- Tuesday AM 08:00 to 13:00
- Thursday PM 13:00 to 19:00
- Friday AM 08:00 to 13:00
- Plus occasional Saturday mornings and cover for holidays and sickness as required.
Any employment offer will be subject to a full DBS check and References.
Receptionist Job summary: Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way. Provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive, professional and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:
- To have a thorough knowledge of all practice policies and procedures.
- To work in accordance of written protocols.
- Processing all post and electronic communications on the day they arrive.
- Managing the uploading and downloading of temporary resident forms.
- To manage the waiting list for 24 hour blood pressure monitoring and 24 hour ECGs.
- Any other Administration duties required as advised by the Team Lead.
