Farlingaye High School is offering an exciting opportunity to a motivated teacher to begin or enhance their career as part of a dynamic team as Teacher of History. The role is full time, temporary for one academic year.

In Humanities we aim to develop an enthusiastic, progressive and challenging learning environment for all students, by providing interesting and stimulating lessons and using a range of engaging teaching and learning styles, both inside and outside the classroom. We will enable students to investigate and understand the world’s past and present, in order to make them better citizens and decision-makers for the future. You will be assured of considerable support; we are a very successful, enthusiastic, hardworking faculty who are keen to share ideas, and the principle of mutual professional support is paramount.

Farlingaye High School is a popular and successful school, located in Woodbridge, a pleasant market town situated on the River Deben in Suffolk and just 7 miles from Ipswich. We are a creative school with excellent resources, lovely students and great results. Our most recent Ofsted report graded us Good with Outstanding areas.
