We currently have an opportunity to join our Refuse team as an HGV Refuse Driver / Loader.
Your role:
- You will undertake driving and loading duties across waste management roles and functions, in accordance with the service needs.
- You will be conducting and operating vehicles in accordance with the relevant legislation.
You will need to:
- Demonstrate the ability to control and manage all resources to secure optimum efficiency and high standards of service delivery.
- Be able to effectively communicate with clients, customers, agency organisations and departments, staff workforce and colleagues.
- Be able to work to deadlines.
- Work independently using your own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Hold a Digital Tachograph or Smart Card.
- Hold a Full UK Drivers Licence.
- Hold an HGV Class 2 (Category C licence).
- Have a Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
- Hold a professional Diploma Qualification in an appropriate service discipline.
- Hold a NVQ Level 2/3 in the relevant services.
