We currently have an opportunity to join our Waste and Recycling team as a HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver / Loader.

Your role

Enjoy a 4-day working week while playing a vital role in supporting to keep our streets clean and tidy and supporting the local community. You will be responsible for driving HGV Class 2 Refuse Collection Vehicles and loading refuse, recycling, garden, food waste, and sacks onto the lorry; always prioritising health, safety, and excellent customer care. As the Driver for your round, you will also act as chargehand, taking accountability for the vehicle and crew each day. In addition, you’ll assist with in-cab technology, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all information related to your route.

What you will need

You will need to hold a full UK Driver's License, an LGV Class 2 Category C licence and a valid driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence). If you are reliable, enjoy working as part of a team, have a keen awareness of health and safety and don’t mind physical work in all weather conditions, we would love to hear from you.
