Farlingaye High School is seeking to appoint a passionate, motivated and well-qualified teacher to lead our Philosophy, Religion and Ethics (PRE) subject. You will be responsible for leading PRE across all key stages, including A Level. As Head of PRE, you will act as an advocate for both subjects, promoting their importance in the wider school through events, assemblies and whole-school initiatives. You will enthusiastically and vigorously promote PRE as a subject of choice at GCSE and A Level, inspiring students to continue their studies.

You will also take the lead on curriculum development, ensuring our curriculum is engaging, knowledge-driven and rigorous, and that it meets the needs of all learners. Farlingaye High School is a popular and successful school, located in Woodbridge, a pleasant market town situated on the River Deben in Suffolk and just 7 miles from Ipswich. We are a creative school with excellent resources, lovely students and great results. Our most recent Ofsted report graded us Good with Outstanding areas.
