Hillside Special School are seeking a reliable, proactive and experienced Site Manager to help maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for the pupils, staff and visitors. Although the working pattern is described, the ability to be flexible to support the needs of the school and to respond to ad-hoc responsibilities is required.

We expect you to be the first point of contact for all services, maintenance and emergency work carried out. To be the first point of contact in emergencies e.g. alarm sounding out of school hours and to be proactive in keeping the school site to a high standard.

An understanding and compassion for the pupils is a must as they are the focus of everything we do at Hillside. Confidentiality, professionalism and the ability to think on your feet is a must. A good sense of humour, a considerate and cheerful nature and a positive ‘can do’ attitude are all essential.
