Stowupland Preschool is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Early Years Educator with knowledge of SEN (Special Educational Needs) to join our preschool ahead of a busy cohort. The setting is busy and thriving, and the successful applicant will be a part of our team at an exciting time, as we get ready to welcome a new cohort of children in September 2026.
As the successful candidate, you will deliver excellent standards of care and education, with a focus on achieving outstanding outcomes for all the children in our care; working closely with SEN children supporting their learning and development.
Your responsibilities:
- To work effectively alongside the Manager and Deputies to meet the needs of children according to the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, whilst upholding the setting ethos.
- To work in partnership with an established team, outside agencies and parents.
- To maintain high levels of care and education for all children with particular focus on SEN.
What you will need:
- Ideally, you will hold a relevant qualification in Early Years and Childcare.
- Preferably have 2 years’ experience of working with children under 5. Experience working with SEN children is essential.
- A commitment to adhering to all safeguarding procedures and protocols.
- Knowledge of equality and inclusion within an early years setting.
- Excellent communication skills.

Our Pre-School is a modern, purpose-built building which benefits from a large outdoor area and access to our local community.
