We are looking for an experienced and talented Speech and Language Teaching Assistant, who ideally has experience in Early Years and Speech and Language interventions. This a varied role which includes delivering a variety of high impact interventions to individuals and small groups of children in Early Years, KS1 and KS2.
The role entails being a therapy partner; working closely alongside both NHS and Private Speech and Language Therapy to best support our children. Experience and/or qualification and training in speech and language is preferred but not essential.
You will need to:
- relish the challenge of supporting learning in an ambitious and diverse school
- work with dynamic, forward-thinking staff with high aspirations for our children
- be a teaching assistant who exemplifies outstanding classroom practice, behaviour, management and high expectations
- be committed to life-long learning and open to excellent CPD opportunities
- have good levels of English and Maths competence - GCSE C or equivalent and preferably a Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent
- have some experience, knowledge or expertise in Speech and Language interventions.
