We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Marine Services as a Garden Operative.

The role of Garden Operative will undertake day-to-day activities around the Caravan and Camping site service, including general maintenance works and grounds works. In addition, provide efficient and professional customer service to customers using the facilities. The role requires 7-day cover. The hours are changeable over the year to meet the seasonal demands of the role. Working hours per week are variable with an average working week of 30hrs per week. 30 hours forms the basis of the regular salary. It is anticipated greater hours would be worked May – September and lesser hours works October – April. Bank holiday working will also apply.

What you will need:

  • You will have previous experience in DIY/maintenance works and using a range of grounds machinery and plant equipment.
  • Being a good team player is essential with a positive, flexible approach and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
