About The Role

As our School Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the school. You will be responsible for managing finance, HR, premises, and administrative functions, enabling our teachers and staff to focus on delivering an outstanding education for our pupils.

  • Lead on financial planning, budgeting, and reporting to ensure best value
  • Oversee some HR processes
  • Manage premises and health and safety compliance
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximise resources and income generation
  • Work closely with the Headteacher and Governors to support the school’s vision and priorities

  • Has proven experience in financial and business management, ideally within an educational setting
  • Has strong leadership and communication skills
  • Can work strategically and collaboratively
  • Has excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Has a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
